Illustrative Character Designs

Character designs I came up with while I was trying to figure out my illustrative "style" when it came to character-making . As someone who has spent years trying to become as realistically accurate as possible in human portraiture, in University I had to learn to step back and find new ways to illustrate my concepts. These studies, although at first sight boring and basic, have helped me a lot on my still on-going journey in illustration design.
